YOU MAKE ME WANNA

Long day, I come home from work,
Am so tired, my eyes hurt.
And all I want is your arms around me,
Holding me close, loving me.

I try to chill but am waiting for the doorbell,
I want you back home as well,
Cause I can’t wait for your arms around me,
Holding me close, loving me.

And there you are, all ruffled hair,
You look so good, I can’t help but stare.
I want you close,
Close to me right now.

You make me wanna forget every harsh thing,
Smile so much more, tend my ruffled wings.
Throw away the doubts, be once again strong,
Remember I am special and to you I belong.

You make me wanna love you so much more,
You are the eternal wave on my life’s shore.
I pray the sun always shine upon us,
Because I love you darling, just love you so much.
