A book sleeping in the library,
I was waiting for a soul who will banish my curse.
And there you were, probing, longing to find,
A story to quench your hearts solitary thirst.
Did the Earth shake outside, or did the roses rain?,
I don’t think I can ever tell.
Cause I was suddenly drawn to you,
As though I was a craver searching for a well.
In your hands I lay, as you read my heart,
Over and over and over again.
And I could feel your warmth, through your gentle fingers,
As lovingly you turned my every page.
Time stood still, or was it flying,
I didn’t know and I didn’t care,
As your eyes drank me, every starry night,
I knew you knew I wasn’t an ordinary book lying there.
I would lie by you, every blessed night,
Moon peering from behind the curtains.
I wanted to hold you close to me,
Move the most daunting mountains.
“I am in love with u, my enchanting dream”,
Every night you would say.
And as you kissed my face, one mystic hour,
My tiring curse shattered away.
I kiss you now, my beautiful prince,
U are the story that quenches my thirst.
Oh Drown in me, as I drown in thee,
In this sea of love, Immerse
